Fear is considered to be the biggest hurdle as it exists due to something of past or thoughts about the future. It creates a non-crossable line to the expected results. It not only hampers the results to success but also builds unwanted doubts, unreasonable thoughts and much more. If we look on to this problem it is the biggest hurdle even in living life in a rightful manner.
The biggest example today is the fear of coronavirus and due to which many people are failing to take it as a new challenge of life and learn to walk with it in the best possible manner rather than stopping themselves by seeing their increasing numbers. The invisible virus destroys a human more through its fear than its harm as fear results to low immune.
Fear can take up the peace of mind and disturb the smooth going life even due to a small created reason by us which are nothing but assumptions. This happens due to lack of vision towards reality. Most of us fail to see a situation or a person as a whole and just by one glance create an image of it which is unreal and due to which at times build up unreasonable fears.
Fear at times is created as we are not ready towards the failure which may come through it .
This can be explained through a small example which is very commonly seen in teenagers. They fear to share the truth as they assume that as its not commonly accepted by other friends parents their parents too would be the same towards them. Thus creating distrust in their relationship with parents .
Fear begun in mind leads to results of failure instead of success. If it would have been used as a tool of push rather than a hurdle it would have gifted happiness of achievement.
As we all know fear plays a major barrier role in our lives its very important to learn the steps to overcome it.
STEPS TO OVERCOME UNREASONABLE FEAR
Understanding and acceptance of fear:
We need to understand the nature of the fear and try to figure out its beginning. As without understanding the reason of fear we will not be able to accept and work upon it .
Making goals of overcoming fear:
After one has understood about its origin and has accepted it one should make a goal or a target by giving oneself a span of time to overcome it and making steps from the reasons of origin.
Acceptance of the worst outcome:
One who has realized the reason of fear, with that one, understands that a future expected result is causing a major problem. So one should figure what is the worst that could happen out of it and accept it. If the worst is accepted anything extra that one would receive will become a bonus and give happiness.
Timely targets and reviewing achievements on the set steps:
One should take steps towards the goals of overcoming fear with a targetted time. One should keep a check on oneself and see to it that we are going as per the timeline set for ourselves.
Use of humour:
Fear developing situations can be lightened by using humour in your words . When humour has added the heaviness of the situation becomes lighter .
Reading positive books or autobiography of people who have achieved impossible:
Fear builds negativity in mind resulting in constant doubtful thoughts. In this situation right feeding is important and books with positivity help your mind to think of possibilities rather than hurdles
Focusing on solutions rather than barriers:
One should build a habit of what he can do rather than what he cannot do. Focusing more on the strengths of oneself will help you boost your confidence and fill you up with courage
Connect to a mentor/ lifecoach:
At times it gets difficult for a person to constantly push and if that is so, one should take help of the right person who has the vision to see life as a whole. For this connect yourself with a mentor or a life coach who is a constant push for us giving right guidance.
